This page will contain a bunch of stuff that’s filling up my days and rocking my canoe. It’ll be updated as and when I find something else on the internet that does it for me. I’m fickle that way when it comes to the net. Family-friendly websites only listed here; for illegal online speakeasys and dens of inappropriateness, please e-mail me.

TOMMY BOYD

British broadcasting hero and true original thinker. He can do kids’ TV, he can do debate, he can do daytime, he can do breakfast, and he can do blogs. Check out his here.

EDDIE ON FLOYD

My other blog, the one about my attempts to cook up Keith Floyd’s amazing food. Watch in terror as I try to recreate some delicious dishes – not always with success. I’ve got a frying pan and a rolling pin – run for the hills!

MYSPACE

Apparently it’s this really neat “networking” site where you can make your own web page and fill it up with stuff. Check out mine, it’s rad. Word. Click yo ass here

LINAS ALSENAS

Linas is a great illustrator and a great friend. He’s also published by Scholastic, just like me. And he also lives in Stockholm, just like I used to. Check the man out here

GEORGE CARLIN

George Carlin was a great comedian but not a friend. I never met him. I wish I had. He started doing stand-up comedy since Kennedy was in office and appeared in a few films, including Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Dogma. Carlin’s was an astute and acerbic mind. He also broke a few eggs in the 70s when he was arrested and charged with violating obscenity laws after a performance of his stand-up show. Dig it here

ROB NEWMAN

“Everything you know is wrong”. Rob Newman once sold out Wembley Arena with his comedy partner David Baddiel. They were the first comedians to ever play Wembley. Fifteen years on, Baddiel is a millionaire and still not funny, where as Rob devotes himself to live shows, the occasional book and TV programmes explaining why the assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand wasn’t the real reason we went to war in 1914. He’s an awesome impressionist, too. And a thoroughly nice bloke. Take a look at his writings or download some free MP3’s here.

PEANUTS

I like Peanuts very much. You know – Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Sally and friends. Charles M. Schulz’s comic strips, and the TV shows, are smart. Take a look at some strips here.

This is a video I am currently digging.
